Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Unit<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The LLDPE unit of Jam Petrochemical Complex has been designed and implemented under the license of BASELL<\/strong>, with basic engineering by TECNIMONT<\/strong>, utilizing SPHERILENE<\/strong> technology. With an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons<\/strong>, this unit is one of the largest polymer production facilities in Iran, capable of producing both linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE)<\/strong> and high-density polyethylene (HDPE)<\/strong>. It has the capability to produce more than 60 different grades<\/strong> for a variety of applications.<\/p>

The grades produced by this unit are classified into the following categories:<\/p>

  • Injection Molding<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Rotomolding<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Stretched Tape<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Monofilament<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Yarn \u2013 Caps & Closures<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Film<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    After preparation in the designated section, the catalyst is mixed with TEAL<\/strong> (for catalyst activation) and Donor<\/strong> (for stereoregularity control) and then fed into the pre-contact reactor<\/strong>. Once activated, the catalyst enters the first of four reactors<\/strong> (comprising two loop reactors<\/strong> and two gas-phase reactors<\/strong>). In these reactors, the catalyst reacts with a purified feed that has been completely refined in the purification section.<\/p>

    Following the polymerization reaction, the resulting powder is transferred to the steamer section<\/strong> to deactivate the residual catalyst and remove existing hydrocarbons through contact with steam. The powder is then dried using nitrogen<\/strong> in the drying section<\/strong>, stored in powder silos<\/strong>, and subsequently sent to the extruder<\/strong>, where it is blended with the required additives, pelletized, and packaged in 25 kg bags<\/strong> for market distribution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
